Thursday, January 24 – CVESD Energy Station Grand Opening! Loma Verde 6th grade students were asked to participate from 4:30-6:30. (optional) Permission slips were given out to interested 6th-grade students last week.
Uniforms – Students are expected to wear their school uniforms every day to school. Please see the uniform policy below.
Rainy Day Schedule – Please note the following procedures in the event of rain during arrival and dismissal.
- Arrival – Students in grades Kinder, 1st and 1/2 combo classes are to report to the library. 2nd – 6th grade students are to report to the auditorium and wait quietly in their line for their teacher to pick them up at 8:00.
- Dismissal – Students may be picked up at their classrooms.

As the second quarter comes to a close, please be sure to stop by the lost and found table by the office to identify any of your child’s belongings. We will be donating all unclaimed items on Friday, December 21st.
Thursday, Dec. 6: Coffee with the Principal – Topic: Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports at Loma Verde 8:15-9:15 a.m. in the auditorium. Please come and join us to hear about the many supports we have in place to help our students develop their social-emotional learning and be successful at school. Babysitting and coffee provided along with translation in Spanish.
Friday, Dec. 7: Hour of Code Activities K-6 Loma Verde will be coding on 12/7. Upper-grade classrooms are teaming up with primary students to code together. This is an exciting event and part of an international Hour of Code that schools are taking part in around the world! Check out the
