CAASPP INFORMATION
This past week a letter came home regarding upcoming CAASPP testing. Please make sure to look for it in your child’s folder.
UNIFORM POLICY
Uniforms – Students are expected to wear their school uniforms every day to school. Students that are not dressed in uniform will be sent to the office to call home to have someone bring their uniform and/or get a loaner uniform. Please see the uniform policy below. If students have perfect attendance and are on time Monday-Thursday, the teacher will allow FREE DRESS FRIDAY for those students.
ZONE TRANSFERS
If your children are at Loma Verde on a Zone Transfer, please be sure to renew your transfer for the 2019-2020 school year.
Please stop by the office to submit your Zone Transfer as soon as possible.
TK & KINDER REGISTRATION
Please let your friends and neighbors know that Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten Registration Packets are now available in the office. If you have a child entering TK or Kinder, be sure to pick up your packet. Children who turn 5 on or before September 1 are eligible for Kindergarten. Children who turn 5 after September 1 but before December 2 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten. For more information on Enrollment visit https://www.cvesd.org/parents/welcome_to_enrollment. Registration packets will be accepted on Wednesday, February 20th. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding registration for the 2019 -2020 school year.
PTO FRIENDSHIP GRAMS
PTO Friendship Grams sales will continue through Feb. 13th while supplies last. Please see the PTO table after school to purchase yours! The cost is $.75 for one or $1.00 for two. Grams will be delivered the next day.
MORNING MILEAGE CLUB
Our new Morning Mileage Club will be starting up soon! We need parent volunteers to help out each morning from 7:30-7:55. Please contact Bree Watson at bree.watson@cvesd.org if you are able to help out a few mornings each week. Thank you!
DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
Our school district will hold a Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, February 13th at 6:00 pm. The Board will conduct a Public Hearing on revisions to the Local Control Accountability Plan.
