ELPAC TEST INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Is your child an English Language Learner? Did you know that all our TK-6th grade English Language Learners will be participating in the ELPAC assessment during the testing window 2/1-3/15? Please come to an important meeting to learn more about the English Language Proficiency Assessment for California (ELPAC), join us on Monday, January 28 at 8:15 a.m. Our monthly ELAC meeting will focus on this important assessment. We hope to see you all there! Refreshments, Spanish translation, and babysitting provided.
ZONE TRANSFERS
If your children are at Loma Verde on a Zone Transfer, please be sure to renew your transfer for the 2019-2020 school year.
Please stop by the office to submit your Zone Transfer as soon as possible.
TK & KINDER REGISTRATION
It is hard to believe that it is already time to begin planning for registration for the 2019-2020 school year! Please let your friends and neighbors know that TK & Kindergarten registration packets will be available for pick up on Wednesday, February 6th. TK & Kindergarten Registration packets will be accepted on Wednesday, February 20th. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding registration for the 2019 -2020 school year.
KINDERGARTEN READINESS MEETING
Our CVESD district is getting ready to welcome a new group of eager TK and K students for the 2019-2020 school year. We encourage the parents of eligible TK and K students to attend the upcoming orientation scheduled for Monday, February 4th.
Let’s support each other in making arrival and dismissal onto our campus safe and organized for everyone!
REMINDERS FOR ALL:
- Do not park or wait in RED ZONES/Drop off and pick up in YELLOW ZONE only!
- Do not drop off children in the middle of the parking lot! This is not safe, and it backs up the flow of traffic. Please park your car and come on campus to drop off or pick up your child.
- Please use the crosswalk into and from school. Listen to the crossing guard and safety patrol students.
- Be courteous to other drivers and pedestrians – children are present!
- No texting and driving!
- Please follow the one-way exit out of our parking lot. Do not enter our parking lot the wrong way.
- Bottom line: BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, BE SAFE!
