2020-2021 TK & KINDER REGISTRATION

It is hard to believe that it is already time to begin planning for registration for the 2020-2021 school year! Please let your friends and neighbors know that TK & Kindergarten registration packets are available now in the office. TK & Kindergarten Registration packets will be accepted starting on Wednesday, February 19th.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding registration for the 2020 -2021 school year.

 

2020-2021 ZONE TRANSFER RENEWAL

If your children are at Loma Verde on a Zone Transfer, please be sure to stop by the office to renew your transfer for the 2020-2021 school year as soon as possible.

 

Let’s support each other in making arrival and dismissal onto our campus safe and organized for everyone!

REMINDERS FOR ALL:

• Do not park or wait in RED ZONES/Drop off
• Do not drop off children in the middle of the parking lot!  This is not safe and it backs up the flow of traffic.  Please park your car and come on campus to drop off or pick up your child.
• Please use the crosswalk into and from school.  Listen to the crossing guard and safety patrol students.
• Be courteous to other drivers and pedestrians – children are present!
• No texting and driving!
• Please follow the one-way exit out of our parking lot.  Do not enter our parking lot the wrong way.
• Bottom line:  BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, BE SAFE!

ELPAC TESTING

Is your child an English Language Learner?  ELPAC testing will continue this week. Please ensure your children are well-rested, well-fed, and prepared to show all the English they know on the ELPAC assessment.

 

 

Please view the letter in English and Spanish from the Superintendent regarding temporary updates to our Health Office procedures.

 

 

Parents can now access their student score reports for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Learner Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). Go to http://www.cvesd.org, Parents tab, My Child’s School, Home Access Center or click Register.
