The Wildcat Way October 7-11, 2019

WELCOME BACK!

We want to welcome back all our students and families to the 2019 Fall Quarter.  The Fall Quarter is always very busy with many activities, so we encourage all our families and students to check our blog frequently.

School begins on Tuesday, October 8.  Please remember that it will be a full day of learning for all students. Kindergarten – 6th grade students begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m.  We look forward to seeing all our Wildcats on Tuesday!

The Kids Heart Challenge – Thank You!

Our school was part of the Kids Heart Challenge on Friday, September 20th. What a fantastic event! Thank you to all the teachers and parents that helped before and during the event to make this day possible for our students. Thank you parents for coming out to the event and cheering on your students while they participated. A big shout out to our amazing 6th graders! We have received so many compliments on how well they coached each station and helped our TK-5th graders! As a campus we raised $1,445 for the American Heart Association. Our school also earns PE/Recess equipment! The more we raise the more we earn!  All donations are due by Friday, October 11, 2019. Thank you!

Our average daily attendance last week was 97.09%.  Our goal is 98%. Be sure to bring your child to school every day and on time. Every minute of every day counts! Attendance is important.  It is one of the indicators the state now looks at along with academics and suspensions rates.  Please be sure to make vacations plans during the 185 days that your child(ren) are not in school.  You can find the 2019-20 and 2020-21 Calendars below.
