Minimum Days (1:00 dismissal) for Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, Sept. 12-19. Fall break is September 23-October 7, and Quarter 2 begins on October 8, a regular day with 2:30 dismissal.

A.G.E. Preview Night

Coffee with the Principal
Join us on Thursday, September 19 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the auditorium for the Coffee with the Principal meeting. Come learn about and give input on our School Safety Plan and Site Plan for Student Achievement!
The Kids Heart Challenge is Coming!
Our school is part of the Kids Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association. Meet our Heart Heroes this year that will help us fight heart disease and help others! You can register online today! Visit www.heart.org/kidsheartchallenge and search Loma Verde Elementary to join our team and receive the FREE Heart Hero Wristband! Get recognized with Perrie, Knox, and all the heart heroes right away at our heart health assembly on September 3rd when you raise lifesaving donations. You’ll also earn an awesome SQUISHY HEART by raising $150 online as a special BONUS! Don’t forget to download the FREE APP called Kids Heart Challenge for iPhone and Android to bring your heart heroes to life, post to social media, and raise donations on the go. Be sure to bring your child to school every day and on time. Every minute of every day counts! Attendance is important. It is one of the indicators the state now looks at along with academics and suspensions rates. Please be sure to make vacations plans during the 185 days that your child(ren) are not in school. You can find the 2019-20 and 2020-21 Calendars below. Students will perfect attendance and no tardies during the 1st quarter will be invited to a special inflatable slide party at school on the last day of the quarter.
