Thank you, PTO, for an amazing Fall Festival! Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make the afternoon so much fun for our families! We will be letting you know the amount raised from the Fall Festival.
Federal Survey Cards were sent home on Friday, November 2. We need everyone to please take time and complete these cards and return it to the school no later than Friday, November 9. Our school funding depends on this information!
Loma Verde Wildcat Weekly Events:
Nov. 5-11 CVESD Annual Food Drive – bring canned or bagged food items to your class (examples: box of rice, pasta, beans, tuna, canned meat, canned fruit or vegetables) No glass, please. Selected families will receive a food box, grocery gift card, and a toy for each child in the family. Volunteers are needed at the CVESD Warehouse to help with sorting and packing. Please email christina.ross@cvesd if you are able to help during the week of December 1 – 6.
Monday, Nov. 5 – ELAC Meeting (8:15-9:15) ELAC will have a special presentation on how to support your child so he/she can be Reclassified from an English learner to English Proficient. Also, find out what happens after your child is Reclassified as English Proficient. We will review the ELPAC Score Reports. Bring a copy of your child’s report.
