The Wildcat Way Dec. 1-5, 2025 (Week #17)

Hello Loma Verde Families,

We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with love, laughter, and great memories! We’re so thankful for our amazing Loma Verde Wildcats and the joy of helping them learn and grow.

Just a quick reminder—classes resume on Monday, December 1, with a full day of learning and fun. We’ll follow our regular dismissal times.

The next three weeks are packed with exciting activities, including 6th Grade Camp, the PTO Holiday Shop, awards celebrations, and Spirit Week. A huge thank you for your generosity during our APEX fundraiser! Because of your support and the help of our incredible volunteers at the Fun Run, our school raised almost $5,000—what an amazing accomplishment!

Thank you for ensuring your child arrives on time and ready to learn each day—it truly makes a big difference. We’re so grateful for your continued support and partnership, and we can’t wait to see everyone back on Monday!

Warmly,
Mrs. Bree Watson
Principal

Federal Survey Cards Reminder – Please Return!

Every Minute Counts!

Did you know that being just 5 minutes late each day can add up to a significant loss of learning time over the course of the school year? Every minute matters—especially in the morning when routines are set and learning begins.

Please take a moment to talk with your child about the importance of arriving at school on time every day. Building strong habits now sets the tone for a successful day and a successful year!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Line-Up Time: Students should be lined up on the blacktop by 7:55 AM.
  • Start Time: Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
  • Gate Closure: For the safety and security of our campus, all gates will close at 8:00 AM.

After 8:00 AM, students must enter through the office and will be marked tardy.

Let’s work together to help every student make the most of their learning time. Thank you for your continued support!

Gently Used Uniforms Needed

Has your child outgrown their school uniform? The Loma Verde Health Office needs donations of clean uniform clothes to have on hand for children who need to change clothes. If you have any clean children’s uniform shirts, shorts, pants, or skirts that you no longer need, please bring them to the health office. We are also accepting donations of new, packaged underwear for this purpose.

BREAKFAST & SNACKS: FREE breakfast is available for all students from 7:15-7:55. Students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack from home to eat at morning recess. Students may NOT share food at school. All students eat free lunch. Click here to see the breakfast and lunch menus and nutritional information.
