APEX – SCHOOL FUNDRAISER CONTINUES THIS WEEK!
We’ve wrapped up the first week of our Apex fundraiser, and it’s been incredible! The Level Up Leadership Habits are making a real impact, and our students are fully engaged in the journey.
So far, they’ve learned that LEADERS…
- LEVEL UP – Growth comes through effort and practice. Leadership starts when we challenge ourselves to improve every day.
- STARTS WITH ME – We take responsibility for our actions and lead by example. Great leaders are coachable, reliable, and open to learning.
- UNDERSTANDING OTHERS – We listen, show empathy, and create positive environments by asking, “How can I help?” and choosing kindness.
Important:
- Pledges must be entered online at http://www.myapexevent.com to count toward your class total.
- The easiest way to get pledges is to click “SHARE” after logging in and send as many shares as possible via text, email, or social media.
- Students aim for 10 sponsors and earn thank-you gifts for pledges. On average, students complete 32–42 laps (42 max). For example, a $1 per lap pledge equals about $36.
- Don’t see your class? There’s still time to LOG IN, SHARE & PLEDGE!
- Every student gets a free event-day shirt, so please select your child’s shirt size online.
Need your child’s access code? Check their VIP Badge, use a sibling’s code, or contact your child’s teacher.
Thank you for supporting our school and helping make this event a success!
Help us with our Weekend Challenge: Biggest Jump Challenge!! The class that jumps up the most in pledges will earn a Pizza PARTY!!
Thank you for being involved. Be on the lookout for more updates soon.

Federal survey cards were sent home last week. All parents are asked to complete and return these forms as soon as possible. Certain funding for our school depends on this information, regardless of whether you are a federal employee. Thank you for your prompt attention and support!

Every Minute Counts!
Did you know that being just 5 minutes late each day can add up to a significant loss of learning time over the course of the school year? Every minute matters—especially in the morning when routines are set and learning begins.
Please take a moment to talk with your child about the importance of arriving at school on time every day. Building strong habits now sets the tone for a successful day and a successful year!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Line-Up Time: Students should be lined up on the blacktop by 7:55 AM.
- Start Time: Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
- Gate Closure: For the safety and security of our campus, all gates will close at 8:00 AM.
After 8:00 AM, students must enter through the office and will be marked tardy.
Let’s work together to help every student make the most of their learning time. Thank you for your continued support!

Gently Used Uniforms Needed
Has your child outgrown their school uniform? The Loma Verde Health Office needs donations of clean uniform clothes to have on hand for children who need to change clothes. If you have any clean children’s uniform shirts, shorts, pants, or skirts that you no longer need, please bring them to the health office. We are also accepting donations of new, packaged underwear for this purpose.

BREAKFAST & SNACKS: FREE breakfast is available for all students from 7:15-7:55. Students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack from home to eat at morning recess. Students may NOT share food at school. All students eat free lunch. Click here to see the breakfast and lunch menus and nutritional information.

LOST AND FOUND
Please note that the lost and found rack will be at the front of the school by the office. Remember to use a permanent marker to put your child’s name on jackets, sweaters, lunch bags, and water bottles.
