Hello Loma Verde Families!
Welcome to Week 9 of school! We’re excited for a week of learning, parent-teacher conferences, and school spirit!
Just a reminder: TK through 6th-grade students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM all week due to minimum days for conferences.
This week is also Spirit Week—we encourage all students to dress up and participate each day!
🎉 Monday is International Dot Day – wear your wildest, wackiest dots to school and show off your creativity!
As we head into the final week before our two-week fall break, please continue to remind your child of our 3 Wildcats Personal Standards: Show Respect, Make Good Decisions, and Solve Problems.
Students with perfect attendance from September 15–19 will be entered into a drawing to win a Squishmallow—let’s finish strong and make it a great week!

Parent/Teacher Conferences This Week!
Parent-teacher conferences began on Thursday, September 11, and end on Thursday, September 18. Remember, during the conference period, TK through 6th-grade students are dismissed at 1:00 p.m. Conference information was sent home by your child’s teacher. Please know that our teachers will make every effort to meet in person with any legal guardian or parent who has educational rights for a child and that you may also request a follow-up meeting if you have further questions or concerns. Please contact the school office at (619) 420-3940 with questions or contact your child’s teacher directly.

Students can wear the spirit t-shirts and sweatshirts any day of the week OR the uniform shirt. Order forms can be picked up in the office or click here. Let’s show our school spirit, Wildcats! Please make sure to write your child’s first and last name inside their hoodie.

Gently Used Uniforms Needed
Has your child outgrown their school uniform from last year? The Loma Verde Health Office needs donations of clean uniform clothes to have on hand for children who need to change clothes. If you have any clean children’s uniform shirts, shorts, pants, or skirts that you no longer need, please bring them to the health office.

Important School Policies and Reminders
