Important Safety Drill Notification

In collaboration with the Chula Vista Police Department (CVPD) and our District Safety Team, we will be conducting a lockdown drill on Tuesday, 9/9 at approximately 9:00 AM to review and practice important safety procedures.

🔒 Please note: This is not an active shooter drill.

During the drill, the following steps will be practiced:

  • Doors locked
  • Blinds closed
  • Lights turned off

CVPD officers will walk through the campus to observe and provide feedback to staff on safety protocols.

Teachers will also review classroom lockdown procedures with students to ensure everyone understands what to do during a drill or a real lockdown situation.

You may notice police vehicles on campus during this time—this is part of the planned drill, and there is no cause for concern.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe.
